Helping children in 17+ countries

Medaid4Kids provides recycled medical equipment and medical supplies to poor regions of the world.

We have supplied medical equipment recycled from Irish hospitals, medical supplies, basic hygiene items and sanitation products to 17 countries all over the world. Things we may all take for granted can stop fatal outbreaks of common illnesses and massively improve the everyday lives of thousands of children in these regions.

To date we have operated assistance programmes in Moldova, Transdniestria, Romania, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Ukraine, Abkhazia, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Angola and Libya. Future assistance projects are planned for Cuba, Tunisia and Burkina Faso.

Along with the supplies of hygiene items, basic medical items such as plasters, bandages, antiseptic creams, anti lice shampoo, cough meds, infant pain relievers, etc, are also being provided.

The aid being provided to these orphanages extends further than basic supplies. Washing machines, fridges / freezers are purchased regularly, the provision of heating boilers, cookers, etc, emergency aid for flu and other outbreaks of illnesses all form part of the aid being provided.
